The Women’s and Gender Studies Program is a vibrant community of scholars. Our dedicated affiliated faculty are innovative scholars who teach courses and work directly with students on their independent projects. In addition to keeping the office running efficiently, our office staff act as ambassadors to the program in their daily interactions with students and visitors. The Program also hosts the Feminist Led Activist Movement to Empower and the Women’s Mentoring Network. Many local businesses and organizations provide internship opportunities for students to apply classroom learning to real-world experiences, and help foster growth and continued learning in women's studies. Supporters in the Bloomington-Normal community help us make the Women’s and Gender Studies Program at Illinois State University a success by donating time and money.
